Example of sea growth on the shaft:

Underwater hull cleaning can lower operation costs and extend the life of hull paint.  Cleaning helps to activate the biocides in paint which lessen algae and sea growth.  With our hull cleaning maintenance program we can keep your yacht in top performance.
 That's why we:

·         Clean exterior thru-hulls and running gear (propellers, rudders, shafts, struts, trimtabs, outdrives, etc.)

·         Inspect for blisters on fiberglass hulls.

·         Inspect for damage.

·         Inspect paint condition.

The same shaft after cleaning:

Eco friendly and responsible: At Double J Diving we are an eco company and  employ responsible practices; we do not clean ablative/soft paints in water and follow area marina rules.

Details...

We use white 3M Scotchbrite pads, the least abrasive, for hull cleaning on most paints; red pads for cleaning running gear; and the most aggressive, black pads, for cleaning the zinc contact surface. Our cleaning ensures a full inspection of paint conditions with alerts for upcoming haul out needs for new paint.

Race Wipes:  For wiping race bottoms we use soft sponges. We always clean with a streamlined stroke to help water molecules flow properly to lessen drag. Ask about our "Race Package Service."

"Jorge and Janel have taken very good care of me and my boat for a few years now and everyone I know who uses their service is as happy to have them as I. They are very friendly and accommodating but thorough and very professional. They always let me know when it is nearing the time for the zincs and bottom inspections and they follow up with verbal and written detailed explanations of their work and findings. And they are very affordable...I've even suggested that they should charge a little more because I feel I receive what I have paid for and a lot more. It is more than a pleasure to recommend them. Thank you and kindest regards,"
